CLIMATIG participated in the conference “Sva lica suvremenih rizika”, organized by HAD (Croatian Actuarial Association), where our team showcased how climate risk analytics can support actuarial decision-making in insurance.
During the conference, Alen Šterpin (CLIMATIG) delivered a presentation focused on the use of high-resolution, geolocation-based climate-risk calculations for insurance premium calculation. The session demonstrated how advanced climate models can help actuaries better assess future risks and strengthen pricing and risk-management strategies in an increasingly climate-impacted environment.
We were pleased to engage with members of the actuarial community and exchange insights on how climate data and analytics are becoming essential tools for managing long-term financial risk.
